The influence of Industry 4.0 on employment in engineering companies: Evidence of managerial view in Czech and Germany

Research background: The global business activities raise the necessity of skilled workers, especially in context Industry 4.0 and its implementation company processes. At same time, development technologies connection with automation robotization production provides opportunity to change from a traditional approach separate units an automated operation. Purpose article: primary research aimed obtain information data that top managers consider as important. there is focus on between level employment engineering within concept industry 4.0. Methods: In research, structured interviews were used. For interview, we asked 88 companies Czech 303 Germany. From amount, get responses 67 (82 managers) 160 German (200 managers). Their answers processed by Dematel method, which considered multi-evaluation tool. Findings & Value added: Based DEMATEL coordinates individual parameters determined their visualization map influences, links variables are visible, located two quadrants. form above arrows, wherein case bidirectional it mutual influence one-way arrows then show one-sided dependence.
